Allen-Bradley controls dominate Tampa Bay plants, which also means Allen-Bradley obsolescence is the single most common call we get. We upgrade PLC-5 and SLC 500 systems to current Rockwell platforms, migrate DH+ and Remote I/O networks to a clean Ethernet architecture, and replace the 1771/1746 I/O chassis that no longer have supported spares. If your program still lives in RSLogix 500 on a Windows XP or 7 machine, that PC is often the bigger risk than the processor itself. We address both together.

SLC 500 Replacement in Tampa
The SLC 500 was discontinued by Rockwell years ago, and remaining spares are increasingly limited and increasingly expensive. If yours is still running, you’re one processor fault away from a line-down event with no clean parts path. Gray-market units carry no warranty and no guarantee of remaining life.
We replace SLC 500 systems with a current Rockwell processor, migrate your existing logic where it’s practical to do so, and rebuild the I/O in a new UL 508A listed panel with full documentation. If your SLC 500 is talking to a PanelView Standard terminal or running over a DH+ network, we typically address all three in the same retrofit rather than solving one piece and leaving the rest exposed.
